MSc in Renaissance to Enlightenment / MSc in Renaissance and Early Modern Studies

from the 2012/2013 session the programme will be MSc in Renaissance and Early Modern Studies

Research Skills

Students will take one research skills course in the first semester. The aim of this courses is to furnish students with the practical and methodological skills to conduct an original piece of academic research, as well as to give advice on progressing to doctoral research, bidding for funding and so on. Specific research skills in Renaissance Studies are covered in the Core Course.

All Renaissance to Enlightenment students will be automatically enrolled in the School of History and Classics Research Methods course, unless they have particular reasons for choosing the alternative courses offered by History of Art, which may be more suitable for people interested in a career in curatorship or museums.
